This just in, late breaking news from Norway.
Tony Sarrka a.k.a. IT, the evil dwarf, snuck into the norwegian jail holding Varg Vikernes and bit his neck voraciously... Varg later died from his wounds. apparently Sarrka was smuggled by being rectally inserted into Gaahl's ass, and later excreted during laundry detail.

Addittionally I want to let everyone know that Abythos has officially entered the studio and is recording new material.
We have chosen to work with local musician/engineer Kristoph and Amplitude studios. Kristoph plays Drums/Keyboards with local bands Vesperian Sorrow and Odysseum. Also he will be taking over the recently vacated drum spot for the upcoming Abythos full length recording sessions.
I will see you all on the other side of Ahriman's Gate." -Koth (Abythos)

Updates all a round
It's been a while since you've heard from us, but that doesn't mean all has been quiet on our front. Much work has been going on behind the scenes as we work towards a number of major steps in the future of the band. We'll let you in on what those are as the time presents itself. In the mean time, the website is currently in the process of being updated, check for new postings in the Audio/Video section, as well as other sections. New photos will be posted momentarily.
In other news, we must bid farewell to our second guitarist, Bleak. Due to personal reasons, he's no longer able to continue with the band. We'll miss him and wish him well in all his future projects.

I'd also like to take a bit of time to say a few words regarding the 'Arrival Rituals' CD Release Party, which occured at Redrum a week ago. It was an incredible night, there was a definite energy flowing that night, manifesting itself in the great performances put on by all the bands, as well as the ferocity of the crowd. All told, it was an enjoyable night for us, and we look forward to our next performance. Our darkest regards go out to Force Fed, Azoth, Vows in Ashes, Disfigured, and our brothers in Hammerwhore, you all played impeccable sets; and of course a blackened Hails to all who came and supported us and the other bands that night, we'll see you again soon!
Many photos, from many photographers are available in our Gallery, be sure to give them a look. And then head to our good friend Malakyte's photo album of the event.

Welcome to the revised edition of the official Abythos band web site!
Greetings and Welcome! I would like to say how excited I am, Koth, to announce that our website is now operational and ready to serve as the virtual mecca for all things related to Abythos. As some of you may know, Nagrath, the drummer for Abythos, is quite handy with computers and he has employed those skills for the past several weeks in constructing this new site that you are soon to have the pleasure to investigate. I want you all to stop by our guestbook and leave a message letting Nagrath know what you think of this new site that he has worked so hard on. Be aware that our first ever album (Ep) will soon be released towards the end of this month and the release will coincide with our show on the 28th over at Redrum here in Austin, Tx. The album is entitled, "Arrival Rituals" and will contain four of our full length songs and two instrumentals. The art work for this release is impressive as well as the total professional layout of the Cd itself and we all have Nagrath once again to thank for that. Hailz to all of you and happy new year!!!!
